Seva Puja
At Jal Mandir, the teaching of Deity worship (Seva-Puja) is approached not merely as an external ritual, but as a profound invitation to immerse oneself in the heart of the Spiritual Master (Srila Gurudeva). It is taught that the altar is a manifestation of the eternal transcendental platform (Yogapitha) where divine pastimes occur, and entering it requires an attitude of absolute faith, cleanliness, and surrender. Our students learn that worshipping the Deity is an act of Bhakti (devotion) and Seva (service) that purifies the heart of worldly desires and awakens spiritual ecstasy even in beginners. Training includes essential practical aspects such as performing acamana, offering bhoga so that it is transformed into prasadam through sacred mantras, and the internal meditation necessary to perceive the living presence of the Divinity in the Srimurti. Under this standard, worship ceases to be a civil labor and becomes an uninterrupted flow of affection and connection with Reality Beautiful.
