Srila Bhakti Rakshak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj is recognized as the "Guardian of Devotion" and the visionary founder who established the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math in 1941. A pivotal figure in preserving the purity of the siddhanta, Guru Maharaj formally designated his most intimate disciple, Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj, as his exclusive successor in his divine will and testament. Govinda Maharaj, who joined the mission in 1947, was publicly installed as the Sevaite-Acharya in 1986, more than two years before Guru Maharaj’s departure. Under his leadership, the mission achieved a global reach, carrying the religion of humility and divine love to thousands of people across the world.
